What is prize Bond Scheme?

The concept of prize bond was introduced back in 1960 and is regarded as gold investment and bearer security.It is a Government of Pakistan’s endorsed scheme via National Saving Schemes who has other products like Defense Saving Schemes (DSS), Regular Income Certificates (RIC), Behbood Saving Certificates (BSC), Savings Accounts (SA) and Special Saving Certificates (SSC). Participating in the prize bond scheme is the only lawful method to invest wisely and have chance to win prize money in shorter period of time. Prize bond scheme can be a golden chance to fulfill one’s dreams by winning huge amount. Prize bonds are issued in proper series, where each series consist of one less than 1,000,000 bonds. People love to invest and Prize Bonds Schemes are good source of investments in this spectrum. The Prize Bonds are available in denominations of Rs.200 Prize Bond, Rs.750 Prize Bond, Rs.1,500 Prize Bond, Rs.7,500 Prize Bond, and for Rs.15,000,Rs.25000 and Rs.40,000 denominations. What is the validity period of a prize bond?

A prize bond remains valid till the scheme termination.

What is the valid time period for claiming a prize?

Maximum time period to avail the prize is six years from the date of draw.

How to clam a prize bond?

You should have won a prize bond in the last six years. Winning bond older than 6 years cannot be claimed. One prize bond can win on multiple draw dates and can be claimed multiple times. Stamped issue date on your prize bond should be at least two months less than the draw date.Only those prize bonds qualify for prize money, which have been purchased two months prior to their respective draw. The prize bond should not already be claimed on that draw date. In this case you will have to fill the claim form multiple times.
