Saeed Ajmal says, It took me a year to get over the ‘fear’ of chucking.Ajmal said, “It was in my mind that I was chucking. It took me nearly a year after the ban to get rid of the fear”.Saeed Ajmal may gradually regaining his magic touch but 38-year-old revealed that the ‘fear of chucking’ had almost pushed him into retirement.


Saeed Ajmal worked really hard. Ajmal said he bowled ‘12,000 deliveries’ during the rehab before coming back.I am developing those muscles.I didn’t have the pace, but thankfully my pace is up to 90kph.


I have relearned everything. Even with my body, I have had to start new exercises. Then I followed that up by bowling with a heavy ball.I have bowled at least 100 balls a day.449342-saeed-ajmal-train-sad-700

The 38-year-old Ajmal last played for Pakistan in April 2015 after his banned.He was banned from bowling by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in September 2014 for an ‘illegal action’.
